22nd july
begins with the day at changkat changi sec in the morning to have a look at their rehearsal for their upcoming racial harmony concert to be held at Temasek Poly on 28th july, next followed by going down to pasir ris sec band's investiture in the afternoon ... while having lunch at eastpoint saw wanting choonyi and huiyan coming in Burger King with loads of presents ... the whole investiture was rather emotional and crazy .. as when their sec 4 & 5 members played queens park melody it brings back memory of WASBE where pasir ris band and changkat changi band perform with the switzerland band playing queens park melody .. and i was playing bass clarinet at tht time together with hanif and another two guys from switzerland band
most of the members of pasir ris band cried during the investiture but its understandable though .. its was a happy and joyious and as well as a saddening investiture ! as usual gifts were given and receive by almost everyone whoo were present .. for me i gave out chocolates as usual and i received a few gifts too ... thanks to all who gave me gifts ! =D
dinner was also served in buffet style ... and the members were busy taking photos with each other too .. well sir joined in the fun as well haha .. then i left for my buddy's 21st birthday celebration at his home in hougang in the evening at 7pm
upon reaching his place i have yet another round of buffet at his place haha ... and catching up with our ite classmates and his poly mates from interior design course and gaming friends .. happy guy he is indeed .. haha with 2 cakes and the place looks more like wedding dinner buffet reception ... after tht i went down to esplanade to meet up with sir and huifen and gang at 11.15pm they were at chocolate bar enjoying chocolate licks then slack and chit chat awhile before heading off to faerie's place with alwdyn at woodlands ...
23rd july
viewed the Vivala Musica IV's dvd recording and were rather amused at how it was rather nicely recorded ... lol then had mahjong session with faerie's parents and brother while she went to sleep ... afterwhich left her place at 7am in the morning to go home and took a few hours of nap before heading for youth winds in the afternoon where i overslept and woke up at 12.50pm .. where i was frantically rushing myself ... luckily i managed to reach at 2.15pm .. ... was surprised when doreen messaged me to say she's coming to join us for practice .. haha but too bad she's not able to join us for the upcoming concert ..
after practiced while those having theory lesson waiting for sir .. the rest of us and they end up playing a few pieces for some own jamming session then sir came but let us jammed for awhile more .. haha .. then we went down to Plaza Singapura for our illegal gathering dinner or rather more of a gallery dinner for ppl to view us ...lol ... then went to arcade and sir came to join us at ard 21.50pm then we went to mac for drink and chat
and guess what we came out many interesting ideas
i jus found out what the prss members mentioned abt having something for me and telling me i have to come for their investitutre alrdy .. haha but glad tht nth happened
wonder who is the one who tagged using my and choonyi's name .... the person think the time indicator is there for nth ...
