23rd june - the big day for pasir ris band and their alumnis and friends haha .. i believe everyone's nervous on tht day cos .. well tell me who isnt even if it means he/she has perform in concerts or event for upmteen times ! I realised tht the best part of a concert is when everyone starts to turn crazy after the last piece or even during the pieces itself ...
during dixieland jam it was practically the best response with the whole band screaming as each soloists and guest conductor is being introduce on stage ... haha
dun know why the piece folklore of the yao was rather subtle when played as compare to the times we practice it - maybe too nervous and careful i guess as i myself is cautious abt whether i will play out of tune or wrong~
2nd half had the most happening pieces with additional gimmicks especially for the piece grand serenade for awful lots of winds and percussions - performing members complaining to each other abt the conductor and picking up the stands and scores as well as giving attitudes ...haha ... total fun
concert ended with queen in conert and encore with el bimbo .. wahaha ... choir had fun with 24 cans of snow spray ... and the dancers too ~ last but not least even when distributing and tossing chocolates can be exciting and stressful cos imagine 90 members screaming for the nice wrap rocher haha .. but too bad they are only for clarinetist ... wahaha well the rest got other choco too which a few others and me were tossing out - can be kind of scary as well - not forgeting the present and flower given to me by pasir ris members and changkat members respectively
aftermath of concert .. loads of picture taking and the giving and clearing of items as well as supper !!!
there's another point to add - so sorry to make U u-turn back to return me the $12 and eventually cause U and peishan to walk in the rain back home
